# Terms of use

By using Grantor — the SDKs, this site, or the on-chain registry — you agree to
the following. It is written plainly and kept short on purpose.

## Developer preview, provided as-is

Grantor is an **unaudited developer preview**. It is provided **"AS IS", without
warranty of any kind**, express or implied. Do not put irreplaceable funds or
production-critical traffic behind it yet. You use it at your own risk.

## License

The software is **proprietary**; your rights are governed by the accompanying
[LICENSE](https://chaingrantor.com/llms.txt). The published SDK packages are
distributed under that license.

## No hosted service, no SLA

Grantor runs **no authorization server** and no hosted service in your
authentication path. There is nothing for us to guarantee uptime on. The
on-chain registry lives on Base; its availability depends on the chain and on
your own infrastructure and RPC providers.

## Billing is on-chain

Becoming a tenant and paying for it are transactions on a **public contract**.
Payment terms, and what is and isn't refundable, are described on the
[Refunds & cancellation](https://chaingrantor.com/refund.html) page and enforced
by the contract itself. Grantor holds no custody of tenant balances.

## Your responsibilities

You control your keys and your deployment. Grantor holds no keys and stores no
secret of yours. Keeping your keys and your integration secure is your
responsibility.

## Changes

These terms may change during the preview. Continued use after a change means
you accept the updated terms.

## Contact

[dev@chaingrantor.com](mailto:dev@chaingrantor.com). Governing law and a formal
agreement will be specified for the production release.
